KAI offers art and cultural experiences where guests can explore water in new ways through the senses, reflection, environment, and community.

Culture on, by, and in the water 

KAI invites you to activities on the water, by the harbourfront, and in the pools. The cultural programme features both new and traditional formats that engage with or interpret water. You can find our cultural programme here on the website, which will be continuously updated with new events. 

Look forward to experiencing cultural activities that explore the senses, reflection, environment, and community – both as themes and as a framework for art and culture at KAI. 

We meet at KAI 

At KAI, there is space to immerse yourself, meet others, and explore water through movement, creativity, and community.

Create culture

If you have a good idea for the cultural programme at KAI, you will soon be able to send us an application. As a cultural partner at KAI, you will have the opportunity to explore the venue in, by, or on the water and to use water as a theme for your activity or performance. The Create Culture application form opens on December 5th, 2026.

The Culture Tower

At the top of KAI’s tallest brick tower, you’ll find the Culture Tower – a vibrant hub with flexible facilities for culture, community, association activities, movement, art, meetings and much more.

Facilities

  • Horizon – cultural space on the 3rd floor with capacity for 75 people.
  • Gaze – movement and cultural space on the 2nd floor with capacity for 75 people.
  • Shore – wet movement space on the 1st floor with capacity for 22 people.
  • Outsight – meeting room on the Mezzanine with capacity for 12 people.
